Foundation was founded in 1971; its mission is to improve the quality of
life of patients with emphysema, asthma or related lung
diseases with information and education for families.

The Pulmonary Paper is a
non-profit corporation supported by a modest schedule of individual
tax-deductible gifts. It distributes a newsletter"Dedicated to
Respiratory Health Care" eight times per year by mail to its
subscribers – professionals, caregivers, and patients. It is most
informative. Bulletin: Itis also the official newsletter for
EFFORTSsince 10/27/99.
